(Redwood City, CA) Mark Church, Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, announced today that the San Mateo County Registration & Elections Division will begin posting election results for the May 2, 2023 Millbrae School District Special Mail Ballot Election at smcvote.org, select “Get Election Results,” starting at 8:10 p.m. on election night. 

Election Night Results Release Schedule: 

8:10 p.m.
Results include Vote by Mail ballots received in the mail through Election Day and Vote by Mail ballots returned at the Vote Center and Drop Boxes by the Monday before Election Day.  

Between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Results include all Vote Center ballots.  

The postelection results releases will be released before 4:30 p.m. on the following dates: 

  • Friday, May 5 
  • Wednesday, May 10 
  • Thursday, June 1 (Election results certified) 

 The Results Portal is an interactive reporting system that includes: 

  •  Results reporting (user can filter by contest) 
  • Vote totals for each contest broken down by Vote Center and Vote by Mail 
  • Voter Turnout (mapped by precinct) 
  •  Reports (in csv and pdf formats) 

The Registration & Elections Division will send e-mail alerts to interested members of the public as new results are posted online on election night.  Requests can be made online at  smcvote.org, select “Sign Up to Receive Election Night Result Notices by Email” under “May 2 2023 Millbrae School District Election,” call or text 650.312.5222. 

Voting Period Began April 3 and Ends on May 2
